    1. If you need to cancel, hourly or whole-day users must try to do so 48 hours ahead of start of their booking via an email to bookings@kemerton.org.uk. We understand this is not always possible.

Payments for un-used dates can be credited against future bookings, or a refund can be arranged. Billing queries should be directed to treasurer@kemerton.org.uk

    2. Whole-venue weekend bookings must be cancelled 1 month before the start of booking via an email to bookings@kemerton.org.uk. Security-deposit refunds will be issued within 10 days.
  • Up to 12 bookings can be made at one time.
We recommend renewing around the 10th booking in order to secure the space going forward. Responsibility to re-book rests with the Hall user.

  • Very infrequently the hall is required to host government elections or other official business. The Committee will strive to minimise the effect of this inconvenience on hall users but some disruption may occur, for which we apologise.
  • Please familiarise yourself with the practical Guides to the hall, located on the website.
  • Please ask your guests to park with consideration to road and pavement users, ideally encouraging them to park down by the War Memorial and elsewhere in the village, rather than in front of the hall.
  • Before leaving the hall, please do the following:
  • Sweep the floor of your room using equipment provided.
  • Close all blinds or curtains where applicable, including front entrance hall blind.
  • Take all your rubbish away with you.
  • Wash up and put away any cups, glasses or dishes you have used. Leave sink and countertops tidy and wiped down.
  • Replace furniture on storage racks as you found it, or better (photographic instructions on racks)
  • if you have changed settings, return central heating & hot water setting to default (‘TIMED’) position.
  • Turn off all lights, including external lights.

Note:     External lights remain on for 10 minutes after being turned off.

The Ladies and Gents toilet lights are on a timer and cannot be manually switched off. They stay on for 20 minutes.

  • Ensure building is locked after use and the key replaced securely in the outside key safe. Please do not share the key safe code with outsiders.
  • Report any breakages or problems to bookings@kemerton.org.uk
